This programme was organised by the Immigration & Labour Management Unit (ILMU) in conjunction with Sambutan Bulan Inovasi Perkhidmatan Awam Sarawak 2026 on 29 – 30 September 2026. The session provided an overview of ILMU's key responsibilities, stakeholders sharing sessions (PERKESO, JIMS, JKNS, and industry representatives), and introduced the Foreign Workers Transformation Approach (FWTA) & Advanced Labour & Immigration Aligned Network for Compliance (ALIANCE) in Sarawak. Key Coverage: a. ALIANCE Ecosystem Overview: JobSarawak, GENESIS (SANSOLS, HAVEN, EXPRT), SAFHIS, and NSIC b. FWTA Insights & Compliance: Operational strategies and compliance frameworks for foreign labor recruitment. FWTA : ALIANCE is in line with the Digital Transformation Plan under the Digital Government Services as outlined in Sarawak Post COVID-19 Development Strategy 2030 (PCDS 2030), Sarawak Government through Immigration and Labour Management Unit is embarking on digitalising the work processes for recruiting foreign workers in Sarawak.
